We call them 'developed' nations because of their quality of life, better work-life, and better benefits for the citizens. You cannot develop a nation with this form of startups we see now as consumeristic startups. Soon we may have apps to order 'Book my funeral' after my death. 'Build my grave' after my death. 'Pay my bills' after my death.

There is no god as such looking at how we make money in the name of God. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. For every bad deed, we will receive bad results. That is the conscience that comes back to us and our loved ones.

Life is not evil, it is a mirror. What we do for lust, greed, and jealously will come back to us in the same form. Man is the evilest animal. We are cannibalistic in deeds but kind in action. 

Different faces, multiple worlds, True to Anyone?  Do we care for the poor? Oh yea to label them poor and keep them poor forever we care.

• There are bad people in every caste and section of society. Let's not stigmatize by a group
• Police torture is extreme, pain, beating, torture. The dark side of law and order. How these things are handled in society. Pressure across divisions of society to withdraw the case.
• These days you can be tracked digitally from signals, phones, cameras. At least circumstances can contradict a similar setup.
• Awareness, education is the key thing for anyone to lead a decent life. You need to be good enough to know things happening around you, able to speak up, and communicate in the right forum

• Equality in society by looking at few people developed and large sections of the society still remaining in poor shape

My Mom is like working 24 x 7. In a way, I feel bad sitting, working, and eating. Also, Astro, religion, and my attitude played a role in settling in Life. I don't know how best to be at mental peace. 

Whatever happens, has a reason for it. Hope I don't burden her :(

I am a strange situation. I don't believe in working together when you have different views. At Chennai, the Food is good but a lot of debates. In Bangalore, I escape from discussions by long drives. In a way, travel kills many worries. I don't know if that's a solution but that's better than being stressed.

I am more afraid to see my mom getting aged. In some way I feel everything I lived during my school, college are memories. I went back saw my school, the place we lived. Everything has changed.

During childhood I was eager to grow up and do some job, I felt its more enjoyable to live without sitting in a classroom. Now at 3am I feel those days were far better than almost 4 decades close in my life. 

I don't know when to get married or should get married or can I find someone like my mindset. I have hurt my mom many times in these marriage discussions. I just want a good decision and yes she has been the one for me in all my bad situations. 

Maybe I am not a good son :(

For every generation, let me live the same life and siblings. I am grateful for all that I have in my life. I am thankful for everything.

The deadliest weapon in this world is smartphone in the hands of teenagers. Everything is available with one click. By default, bad things get out attention.

Catalog of failures

My life by itself has a lot of drama, tragedy, happiness, sadness, and alone walking. 

• Startup idea failures
• Multiple rejections in patents
• Crazy failures in the relationship (Ghosting, No from parents, call of after marriage dates fixed)
• It's okay to be single but sometimes loneliness kill
• If you can't succeed personally or professionally it kills you internally :)
• Sex is cheap, lust is cheap, money is greed - you can label as you like but that is all part of expectations as we grow up
• Don't know to say how mature or damaged I am, mmm sometimes I just look up to stars to forget everything
• You have to numb your pain if you have to hope for an optimistic future

Today I heard Jacob sir passed away in covid wave2, the one who used to run a restaurant opposite my apartment. Had seen him every day past 5 years till covid. He is still in my eyes, the cheerful person, People vanish one day, Life goes on. Felt bad on hearing the news. He was 60+ I guess, a very active, engaged person.

Sometimes you need to let go of everything in life!!!

A Day, A Ride, A Lesson - Competency vs Capability vs Qualification

Sometimes small things teach us big perspectives. I was filling up diesel to drive for a Trip. I went to Shell, The diesel tank lid had some issues. They checked something and finally broke it. It looked ok, After getting diesel it was not locked. It was looking bad. 

I called up a service centre, he mentioned it will take a few hours. He said can't do it today. I was hesitant to go without this being fixed. Naveen advised me to check the nearby mechanic shop. I went to a nearby Garage on Haralur Road. He saw it, He seems he knew the way it works. His name is Praveen. He was fluent in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu. He was patient, quiet. He found the spring, checked. 

His behavior was like an expert. Very down to earth. I could spot Land Rover, BMW, Maruthi Gypsy. Every old to latest models. 

It took 45 mins, I could understand the complete action king of spring based for lock / unlock. He charged 100/-, I wanted to pay 200/- because I don't want to leave anything that I feel hurts the quality of the vehicle. I paid 110/- and said I will meet you again.

The dress didn't dictate his familiarity/expertise. His attitude was not a white-collar showroom attitude. Sometimes some gems are there among us who are content, skilled, patient, and kind. Spot them, Connect in your circle.

6. Becoming bad is easy, Staying as you are is difficult
7. Lust, greed, jealousy are hard to spot but they poison your mind, body, and soul

10. Abused vs Abuser is a cycle, The system will spoil as the pattern continues
11. Everything can be tweaked for convenience and comfort
12. Morally right vs Truthfully right vs no evil intentions cannot measure

14. When someone commits suicide it leaves everyone around him to suffer
15. Smartphones are essentially slow poison, Human mind is trained for addiction
16. Good or bad addiction, Travel vs Lust, Read vs Greed, Self-content vs Comparison everything starts with a thought and leads to habits

20. I don't become clean if I am internally not clean

Health - Wellness

A few months I had severe problems with digestion-related issues. I was not sure if its ulcer, constipation, or any other issues due to poor food habits. Was not feeling good to share this with doctors. The first doctor assumed its related to constipation, poor food habits. It ended up as a worm infection. I need to thank Dr.Prabha for her timely help. There are few more issues which is due to a lack of health focus. I need to have proper food habits, posture, ample water, keep my body cool, less stress.

Time to reclaim a more disciplined life.

• Avoid excess smartphone usage
• Monitor their online activities
• Discuss reported issues/ abuse and make them understand Awareness of surroundings

My School

I studied in Railway Mixed High School, Jolarpet. I was 1997 passed out. Today I went to check out the school, All I could spot was abandoned buildings. It was a 120+ years old school left to die.

• This used to be HM room, Physics Lab. There used to be buildings behind this. At this stage, I have spoken sometime during 8th, 9th, 10th for the Elocution competition. 

• This used to be a staff room and 1-5 sections. Most of the other older buildings have been demolished. This looks abandoned.

• From the road could spot only shady names, Seems left to die

Everything seems to be a memory erased. In the vibrant, lively days now there are only things in your memory. Life goes too fast. What was so familiar at some point in time will never be a part of the time at some point in time. Railway School, Those setups were indeed a good memory, Now seeing all the old abandoned buildings gave me a little shock.

The schools, quarters everything now seems let to die.

• Vaniyambai to Pallikonda - Very heavy rain, Only the centre lane from 3 lanes was less floody, Corners were a lot of water stagnation
• Walajah to Chennai - 2-way lanes, Lot of construction and diversions

Vaccination Leave

If you go for vaccination take two days to rest post-vaccination. I had the superhero mindset 30 mins after vaccination only to get screwed the next 48 hours. Body pain - mild fever - headache is a side effect. Better take rest than trying to do regular work

1. Do not put all eggs in one basket - Diversify invest so that the risk of loss is minimal
2. Initial 3~4 years it will be a failure, I wasn't able to pick or make any money except loss initially, Only during covid I invested back again taking those risks
3. Invest in regular intervals, There are multiple patterns people look at it. Sector, performance, and gut feel of how well it may perform is my approach
4. During covid when people were cashing on reliance huge surge, I was like oh god I am a loser? Making money is no big deal once u start thinking about where to invest
5. Slow and steady investment, pick and chose shares, learn more on the go
6. Loss is inevitable, you cannot master it, Play for long term
7. Slowly raise investment capital, Make sure you learn your lessons failures. Look at all recommendations and pick the one that works best for you
8. Pick small caps, not huge prices, it's okay to play with small stocks, low risk, and diversified investments
9. Learn more, more than money health and mental peace matters, Be aware your stocks can fall, Invest wisely and in different sectors/domains

To get a generation educated we need so many social welfare measures to get them closer to education. With a good living, a well-to-do family you will not appreciate these unless you go through it. Real upliftment came from all these social measures. It is very hard to get a first-generation graduate. Unless you get collective growth you can never grow/innovate at scale.

People attending paid Byjus, Akash IIT will never know the pain of poverty, affordable quality education. Digital mediums should provide more access/guidance for the needy. We need to clear the misconceptions, understand the fundamentals to the core.  

As long as you are divided by caste/religion you will never be able to innovate, learn, share or improve your environment. A knowledge-driven society will evolve not a blind beliefs-based system. I would rather have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned (Feynman quote :))

What's unique about Tamilnadu?

Instead of 1 best Engineering college, we have 500 Average Engineering colleges. The benefits are. The way we see merit is not merit, it is testocracy. Innovation is a collective effort. Innovation does not come from a single source. By encouraging more social participation you can contribute to collective growth. 

Tomorrow when someone talks about merit, Remember newton would have failed even IIT exams because we don't measure merit with knowledge but by the ability to choose from multiple-choice questions. I would rather prefer to be a lifelong learner than a topper at some point in life. 

Life never stops teaching you. Average education and good moral values is all we need. I would not close my eyes and live my life alone. I cannot live at peace when I see someone suffer. Together only we grow not as individuals.

• The sad and tragic thing is that in India, these deaths were avoidable.

• MCQ Pressure is not a measure of knowledge
• MCQ Time management is not a measure of intelligence
• Experimental knowledge vs Ability to recollect
• Choose the right answer vs Eliminating the wrong answer
• Knowledge comes from reasoning and experimentation

Dropout in the education system is not a failure of students but a failure of the education system. True intelligence is built from learning, experimenting, failing. It is not built overnight or by copy-past and running code.
