Life in Data Science Perspective

I believe decisions need to be data-based, logical and not just based on emotions. In the same context prioritizing life objectives. Looking back at 60 I wish to have
  • Well accomplished career
  • Less regretful life
  • A small happy and contended family
  • Be kind and help people you meet in this journey
  • Live up to your values
Taking it further, We need to allocate time for all the different goals in life
  •  Self-achievement
  •  Relationship
  •  Family
  •  Environment
  •  New people and places
  •  Living your values and be an inspiration for people to get inspired
  •  Be consistent with words, deeds
  •  Being the best version, tuning yourself to be the best from your learning
The total happiness lies in small acts of kindness, being open to people, trust people no matter what, work hard, go the extra mile, stay focused and consistent in life goals.

Reality - The real phase of life is
  • Love for self (60%)
  • Love for parents (30%)
  • Love for relationships (10%)
As an individual, you need to focus on
  • Learning (20%)
  • Career (30%)
  • Self-goals (30%)
  • Relationships (20%)
You need to be happy with yourself and your family. Happiness begins with self. It does not come only from relationships. A relationship can be a passing cloud, rainbow or a long lasting one. Only time can answer the loyalty, trust, and truth in a relationship. When things are not allocated in right proportions for what they deserve you will not get expected results. A relationship grows as the family, kids come into the picture. The real sense of commitment will show up in years of being together and still remain as good friends.

Looking at how I wanted my life to be looked up for accomplishment in different perspectives, Be someone whom the world can look up to values, efforts, deeds, and actions. Everything exists but not everyone lives.
  • Live a less regretful life
  • Live a life that inspires your surroundings
  • Don't look for example strive to be an example
  • Don't look at the present situation, focus on the larger purpose and goals
  • Give hope, Stay alive, Live this moment
  • Keep your soul happy, Don't be an eye candy be a soul food
Professional Debts - Yes it took time to understand your skills, expertise, I do not believe Education ends in college. I did masters after 30. I still continue to spend hours every day on this I like to learn / work. I would says being single is a biggest major contributor for better knowledge / learning acumen. Reading technical papers / blogs / upskilling was possible because of lesser dependencies

Financial Debts - Very much it takes time to settle down financially. I have better planned disciplined lifestyle, planning. Having a planned way to track down and close on debts

Relationship Debts - Because of focus on Above two this was not focussed or less successful. I happy for that. Even if I had a good relationship and failed in above two I guess I would not be happy either. Not everything happens at the time we want. We just need to continue the journey and move towards next milestone.

Follow things in order of priority Learning, Self-Goals, Career, Environment and Friends, Meaningful relationships.

Let go now

I started reading my old book "Let go now" by Karen Casey. This is an interesting book that talks about managing human relationships. Some key things it conveys while dealing with difference of opinions, relationships, breakups offer good insights. Some key notes are

"Cultivate the willingness to let go things that you can't control"

"By trying to focus on old things we miss our opportunities to explore new directions"

"Follow healthy detached behavior"

"Watch the events unfold, get involved only when you feel you are part of the journey"

"We are in charge of ourselves, no one else is. The freedom that accompanies this realization will life out spirits"

"Keep a mental note, I will step away from an experience that isn't mine to control will fill me with a sense of empowerment. What a great opportunity this will be today"

"Be peaceful rather than being right,  But with practice it will become preferred choice"

"Hostage will always try to escape, Detachment means taking no hostages"

Make the best out of today, Learn something new, Talk and meet new people, new experiences in life. Today make someone else happy with your words, deeds and actions.
Be nice to yourself and others.

Keep going!!!
