Catalog of failures

My life by itself has a lot of drama, tragedy, happiness, sadness, and alone walking. 

• Startup idea failures
• Multiple rejections in patents
• Crazy failures in the relationship (Ghosting, No from parents, call of after marriage dates fixed)
• It's okay to be single but sometimes loneliness kill
• If you can't succeed personally or professionally it kills you internally :)
• Sex is cheap, lust is cheap, money is greed - you can label as you like but that is all part of expectations as we grow up
• Don't know to say how mature or damaged I am, mmm sometimes I just look up to stars to forget everything
• You have to numb your pain if you have to hope for an optimistic future

Today I heard Jacob sir passed away in covid wave2, the one who used to run a restaurant opposite my apartment. Had seen him every day past 5 years till covid. He is still in my eyes, the cheerful person, People vanish one day, Life goes on. Felt bad on hearing the news. He was 60+ I guess, a very active, engaged person.

Sometimes you need to let go of everything in life!!!

A Day, A Ride, A Lesson - Competency vs Capability vs Qualification

Sometimes small things teach us big perspectives. I was filling up diesel to drive for a Trip. I went to Shell, The diesel tank lid had some issues. They checked something and finally broke it. It looked ok, After getting diesel it was not locked. It was looking bad. 

I called up a service centre, he mentioned it will take a few hours. He said can't do it today. I was hesitant to go without this being fixed. Naveen advised me to check the nearby mechanic shop. I went to a nearby Garage on Haralur Road. He saw it, He seems he knew the way it works. His name is Praveen. He was fluent in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu. He was patient, quiet. He found the spring, checked. 

His behavior was like an expert. Very down to earth. I could spot Land Rover, BMW, Maruthi Gypsy. Every old to latest models. 

It took 45 mins, I could understand the complete action king of spring based for lock / unlock. He charged 100/-, I wanted to pay 200/- because I don't want to leave anything that I feel hurts the quality of the vehicle. I paid 110/- and said I will meet you again.

The dress didn't dictate his familiarity/expertise. His attitude was not a white-collar showroom attitude. Sometimes some gems are there among us who are content, skilled, patient, and kind. Spot them, Connect in your circle.

1. What we do depends a lot on the environment
2. Habits and addictions are outcomes of people, environment, things we are used to
3. Wrong people, wrong habits will cascade and impact your mind
4. Habits easy to adopt hard to give up
5. External looks vs internal cleanup need to be regular
6. Becoming bad is easy, Staying as you are is difficult
7. Lust, greed, jealousy are hard to spot but they poison your mind, body, and soul
8. A mistake done a few times becomes habits 
9. Justifying everyone does mistakes does not clear our sins
10. Abused vs Abuser is a cycle, The system will spoil as the pattern continues
11. Everything can be tweaked for convenience and comfort
12. Morally right vs Truthfully right vs no evil intentions cannot measure
13. Life rewards for every bad and good deed, there is no one thread
14. When someone commits suicide it leaves everyone around him to suffer
15. Smartphones are essentially slow poison, Human mind is trained for addiction
16. Good or bad addiction, Travel vs Lust, Read vs Greed, Self-content vs Comparison everything starts with a thought and leads to habits
17. The dark side of what you know your evilness vs what you are trying to kill within you vs What you are evolving
18. Anger breeds hate lust breeds addiction.
19. Good Addiction vs Bad Addiction vs Poisonous addiction, Know your lines
20. I don't become clean if I am internally not clean
21. Every day it needs constant cleanup of mind/body
22. Read, Travel, Stay content. Don't focus on what you don't have
23. Death has to be welcomed, Life has to be explored, Cherish everything, Find beauty in small things, It okay you cannot win over life. Be a little kind, cheerful, contentful.

Keep Evaluating yourself, Gods won't clean your mind, Smartphones won't clean your mind. Only your clarity of thinking matters.

2. To make your ideas work, you need to focus
3. Don't wait for the title, prepare yourself as an independent consultant
4. Titles vs contribution are debatable, Your ideal role vs what you have gaps address it
5. Every problem can be done in multiple ways, Think like a consultant, observe as a reviewer when you see already someone solved the problem

8. When sabbatical matters, give a break for your body, mind, and soul

Health - Wellness

A few months I had severe problems with digestion-related issues. I was not sure if its ulcer, constipation, or any other issues due to poor food habits. Was not feeling good to share this with doctors. The first doctor assumed its related to constipation, poor food habits. It ended up as a worm infection. I need to thank Dr.Prabha for her timely help. There are few more issues which is due to a lack of health focus. I need to have proper food habits, posture, ample water, keep my body cool, less stress.

Time to reclaim a more disciplined life.

Parenting in 2021

 

• Observe closely if any behavior changes
• Teach them about good touch / bad touch
• Avoid excess smartphone usage
• Monitor their online activities
• Discuss reported issues/ abuse and make them understand Awareness of surroundings
• Provide guidance, alert them, situational analysis
• Proper sex education and awareness of their hormonal changes
• Today everything is on smartphone both good and bad
• Provide better guidance

My School

I studied in Railway Mixed High School, Jolarpet. I was 1997 passed out. Today I went to check out the school, All I could spot was abandoned buildings. It was a 120+ years old school left to die.

• This used to be HM room, Physics Lab. There used to be buildings behind this. At this stage, I have spoken sometime during 8th, 9th, 10th for the Elocution competition. 

• This used to be a staff room and 1-5 sections. Most of the other older buildings have been demolished. This looks abandoned.

• From the road could spot only shady names, Seems left to die

Everything seems to be a memory erased. In the vibrant, lively days now there are only things in your memory. Life goes too fast. What was so familiar at some point in time will never be a part of the time at some point in time. Railway School, Those setups were indeed a good memory, Now seeing all the old abandoned buildings gave me a little shock.

The schools, quarters everything now seems let to die.
