Very disturbing news every day
- Death of kids, teens, adults, elders
- Mass cremations
- Now Corona has reached closer to everyone
Economically
- Loss of Jobs / pushing people below the poverty line
- Making healthcare expensive/unaffordable
- Dropouts in education / Higher unemployment numbers
The cascade effects of this covid will impact every family in multiple ways. Physically, emotionally, financially fit in these stressful times.
I am losing the faith in humanity with more poignant pictures. Even if I feel like having symptoms the only option seems self-medication. I am not afraid of death but just hope for pain-free instant death than a prolonged illness.
It's very sad and disturbing news seeing kids, teens who have not seen life at all falling prey to this wave. This exposes our inability, failed infrastructure. All that glitters is all broken to the core.
I hope we learn the lessons, This lack of preparedness, denial model is biting us hard. Condolences, regrets are not going to bring back lost lives. How many we can save, how we can avoid, how we can be proactive is all that we could do minimally. I hope we have leaders who deliver than practice, work than denying reality.
