These days whenever my mom scolds me I have only one possible solution. Shutdown my work and sleep for a few hours. Many times disagreements will reach a state and things blast venting out frustration. I am also a reason for her anger. Unfortunately, we don't think in the same perspective.
Anyway, silence is the best answer, sleep is the best implementation. I hope I did it even for problems I failed earlier. May be time heals this is what it means.

Someone working in Hotel / Rental cabs will not be able to make any income at this Corona period. Migrant laborers returning to their hometown/home states. Think about the plight of their kids. How many more generations they need to catch up with this system to find a decent job.
When you are well educated, do a white-collar job, WFH / remote working provides ways to continue without any issues. The economic impact, followed by loss of livelihood, the duration it takes for them to recover, send their kids back to school, raise them brings a lot of scary grim picture of reality.
We cannot grow all alone. Together only we can go far. I hope we achieve 100% literacy and produce intelligent and more humble people as a by-product of education. Only when we learn to respect and provide an eco-friendly environment we will sustain. Selfishness vs Economy vs Selflessness. Not sure if whatever is happening is all right.

There is a program in Colors, One young couple. They must be in their 20s. Both belong to different religions. The guy was calm, composed. He did his best running for a task and picked up maximum items. His wife cried and said, "We had gone through a lot of struggle, only he can keep me happy". The statement was testimony to the trust and support they had in their relationship.
Finding a like-minded partner requires a lot of effort/trust and patience. For everything you lose, you gain something. I have crossed that phase and made a number of mistakes. Again education/career / financial commitments are another reason, not a justification.

There is a certain amount of regret for missing certain things in life. You can never satisfy expectations from your closed circles too. Still, I have problems with astrology, Indian marriage aspects, criteria. In this lockdown, a bigger challenge is managing my mom's expectations. There were so many proposals that got messed up because of the difference in perspectives. Many of my friends have kids going second, third at this point. For everything you get, you need to lose something. More than what I gained, I feel pain for the things people highlight oh you have not settled. I don't have an answer but I feel life is short and making someone feeling regretful is worse than not helping them. I would not blame my mother. I would only blame myself for this situation.

Finding people and meeting like-minded folks is difficult. At a certain point when things are not going in favor, we part ways. Parents, Families, Expectations, Financial needs everything decides the conversations. It's better to find someone during college days / continue search finding someone during the early days than waiting to search after settling down. Its tougher and more failures make you double-check every next move.
The number of failures makes me feel, people I met in the past were far better than people I am meeting now. As I go old I have lost by 20's look. Again looks and baldness cost attractiveness when it comes to the marriage market.
I am far away from this kind of search. Finally, you feel emotionally divorced. This is the reason I always believe many things artificially set up to look right in the eyes of society.
